Guatemala 2011 Team Returns Safetly and Richly Blessed

Going to Guatemala and serving alongside Jose and staff at Hope For Guatemala was nothing less than life changing for all of us! Feeding and spending time with these children who have nothing, yet have such thankful hearts and smiles is a reality check for us all! 

 

 

We left Guatemala with hearts full, tears in our eyes not wanting to leave, our lives changed, their lives impacted, and a new resolve to come back next year with more Spanish under our belts! We have experienced living out James 1:27 this week . . . Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
